Chief's Message

Ceud Mile Failte and a big welcome to our revised Website.

The Highland games 2017 are being held on New Year’s Day which happens to be a Sunday. This may upset some people, but it is a matter of going with the times. I am sure the day will be fine and sunny (as it has been in the past) and looking forward to seeing many attend.

I must express my appreciation of the great work done by our volunteers on the lead up to the games, at the games and the clean-up following the games. Without them there would be no games. We are always on the lookout for more volunteers so if anyone is interested please don’t hesitate to come forward during the year and we will fit you in where appropriate.

I would also like to thank the Committee Members who have worked tirelessly throughout the year.

It is great to see that the Celtic Barn is being well used and I will draw your attention to two up and coming events – Art and Tartan in July 2016 and a Celtic Music Festival on Labour weekend. Please enter these in your diaries now.
We look forward to seeing you all on New Year’s Day.
